Who can carry out tooth whitening?

We believe that tooth whitening is the practice of dentistry, which is limited to GDC registrants. If you’re thinking about getting tooth whitening, speak to your dentist. A dentist will be able to advise you whether or not you are suitable for tooth whitening treatment. At our Stockton based practice our dentists, hygienists and therapists will be able to discuss the options available to patients along with an estimation of treatment costs.

Smile Spa Teeth Whitening Trays

Custom-made impression trays which hold the active whitening gel are used for an hour a day. You will start to see results from a few days to a few weeks. The price for this whitening treatment is £305 (upper and lower trays).

Smile Spa Plus Whitening at home only

After a course of desensitisation treatment to reduce possible sensitivity you will receive custom made trays. Smile Spa Plus trays are produced to ensure they seal each tooth individually with the gels in place. This system starts to take effect immediately, with optimum results showing after 2-4 weeks of treatment.

Smile Spa Premium Whitening

This system combines near zero sensitivity with a much greater predictability to achieve the best possible results. There are no lights and no dehydration whitening.

Smile Spa Premium works by increasing the tooth’s permeability to oxygen which breaks down stain molecules. It is a combination treatment, 2 weeks using Smile Spa Plus whitening followed by a 1 hour visit in spa to guarantee B1 shade (the brightest on a standard dental shade guide).
