    Dr Kim Taylor has undertaken extensive postgraduate training in the field of Cosmetic Dentistry  including being one of the first dentists internationally to undertake a Masters Degree in Aesthetic Dentistry at Kings College London and in her first year, being awarded the Aesthetic Dentistry Prize. Kim believes passionately about providing five star service and focusing on attention to detail, but most importantly listening, empathising and offering a personalised service and solutions to meet the needs of each unique individual.       Composite Veneers

      Initial Step

      Complimentary TCO consult and new patient exam

      Suitability
      • Healthy teeth and gums
      • Minimal or no current caps (crowns) at the front of the mouth
      • Few or no existing restorations
      Preparation
      • Little or no tooth preparation is required
      • Often no local anaesthetic is required
      Placement
      • All veneers are placed in a single visit
      Reviews
      • 2 weeks after the veneers are placed a review appointment is booked where the veneers are refined as per the patient’s request. At this appointment the veneers are also polished to achieve the final high gloss finish.
      Maintenance
      • A review and polish appointment is required every 6 months to maintain the surface gloss.
      Longevity
      • We expect direct composite veneers to last approximately 5 years

      Porcelain Veneers

      • Teeth with existing caps (crowns) or veneers or teeth with few or no existing restorations
      Preparation
      • Some light tooth preparation is required
      • Local anaesthetic is required
      Placement
      • The process of preparing porcelain veneers is usually over 4 separate visits 2 weeks apart
      Reviews
      • 2 weeks after the veneers are placed a review appointment is booked where the veneers are refined as per the patient’s request. At this appointment the veneers are also polished to achieve the final high gloss finish.
      Maintenance
      • A review appointment is advised approximately every 6 months
      Longevity
      • We expect porcelain veneers to last approximately 10 years
