"The Smile Spa" Wins 3rd Award in Four Months:
"Best New Practice, North East 2006"

The Smile Spa, a state of the art, purpose-built private dental practice based in premises near Yarm, is very proud to announce that they have won the ‘Best New Practice North East 2006’ Award from “Dentistry” Magazine. This highly prestigious and sought-after award was won in the face of numerous competitive entries from all over the North East, and was presented to Dr. Susan Andrews and her team at The Athena in Leicester, which was hosted by Roy Walker.

The Smile Spa adds this award to a string of other awards that they have succeeded in winning against tough nationwide competition over the last four months. Only three weeks ago, in November 2006, Dr. Simon Andrews won Best Smile Makeover from Private Dentistry magazine and the practice was also awarded Denplan’s National Award for Clinical Innovation in September 2006.

Dr. Andrews is delighted by this national recognition of the hard work that went into the building and fitting out of The Smile Spa’s new building and website (www.thesmilespa.co.uk), and the subsequent commitment and dedication shown by their highly trained staff and team in using both to deliver the highest quality of care and attention to patients. Dr Susan Andrews said:

 “We have had the most fantastic year so far. The last six months in particular have given everyone on the team such pleasure, not just because we have seen everything coming together so effectively following the completion of the new building but also because of the string of awards that we have won. This “Best New Practice 2006” award just shows what a lot of hard work and a strong team spirit can do, and I have to give all credit for this to the team who work with us at The Smile Spa. Like all our other awards, this one also reinforces the fact that the North East is highly competitive in every respect with dental practices nationwide.”

Practice Manager Lynn Nichols agreed, saying:
